5 Powerful Prayers for Love

5 Powerful Prayers for Love

You may be considering what prayer you should say for your loved ones. Prayer for love is a thoughtful and powerful way for your dear ones. Yet, there are occasions when we struggle to pray for others. There are innumerable reasons to pray for the people we love the most. A powerful prayer for love entails asking for the infinite affection, wisdom, and power of God in the lives of your spouses, girlfriends, or boyfriends.

The following are the five powerful prayers for couples in love, which you should practice regularly:

1. Prayer for a Loving Wife

God, I pray for a godly and loving wife! Bless her so that she has a pure life, and may she be a wonderful human being inside out. May she love me always, and I reciprocate the same feelings toward her. Lord, our provider, let my wife have an inner beauty of a quiet and gentle spirit. I pray that she should always be at peace with this planet. Amen!

2. Prayer for a Caring Husband

Loving Lord, I pray to you for a loving husband who will care for me the way you care for the Church. May he love me always and lead our married life in a godly way. O God! May he be considerate and kind to me and give me respect and honor! Father, may I also respect him and love him always. I pray that I am an ideal wife for my husband. Amen!

3. Prayer for a Special Person

Dear Savior, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for blessing me with so much love! I am looking forward to offering the same kind of love to another person. I crave a special person, someone I can respect and love deeply and selflessly with a pure heart. Loving God, please help me to find that one special person who I can be true. Guide me to the correct path to discover this gem of a person soon. Amen!

4. Prayer for More Love from My Spouse

Heavenly Father, I ask you to see that my spouse showers me with more love. My beloved is responsible, faithful, amiable, and always takes care of family responsibilities. Yet, I feel, that the passion we once shared has faded with time. It appears we have grown distant and are often like roommates.

I yearn for a closer bonding and true intimacy with the most special person in my life. There was a time when we laughed together, pined for each other’s company, and shared our dreams. I pray that you rekindle that same passion and love in the heart and eyes of my life partner. Amen!

5. Prayer to Go Back to My First Love

Dear Lord, rekindle that first sweet love in me once again. I am not shy to confess that I got distracted in the last few years. I ask for forgiveness and pray that you give me the strength to return to my first love. Let me soon experience those intimate moments spent with my beloved. Amen!

Request Prayer for House Blessing and Protection

Request Prayer for House Blessing and Protection

Request Prayer for House Blessing and Protection

Calamities like storms, tornados, fire, hail storms, and earthquakes are acts of nature beyond our control. Every year, as seasons change, we face different forms of calamities. Things have started to change drastically in the seasons and the weather we have today, thanks to global warming and climate change. Super typhoons hit so damagingly that large sections of the population get greatly affected. Homes are ravaged, electricity gets cut off, streets are flooded and people rendered homeless.

These events are unavoidable but they test our faith on how God can restore the broken into a new one. Building your house so painstakingly and just watching it being washed by the waters is a heart breaking sight. Yet in the midst of all that is happening in the world today, one can find peace amid chaos. It is not a usual kind of peace.

It is a supernatural kind of peace that only God can give. And that peace came to mankind and is being offered through the coming of Jesus Christ during Christmas time. Even angels sang when He came as the Prince of Peace that and declared peace on earth during His birth. That peace is available to all who welcome the Savior in their hearts and believe in Him. That kind of peace was promised by the Savior Himself when He said, “My Peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives…”

This world is full of trials and challenges that may bring you down if you do not have the right foundation. Just like in a house that was portrayed in the Bible. In Matthew 7:24-27, it says, “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been found on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” As it was said in the verse, the house that was built on sand had experienced the great fall but the man who built his house on a rock did not fall. In life, when we experience this, it doesn’t mean your house was built on sand. But there are circumstances that when we tend to overlook fixing some menial things, it becomes a big problem when a storm comes. The same way in life, for God to restore your brokenness into newness, you need to learn to trust Him in everything. Whatever happens in your life, you know that God has a great plan for you. Even if the winds blew against you, you are sure of who to secure your hope with and your peace that no man can give but God alone.

Have you experienced damage in your homes or in your life? We, The Salvation Garden, encourage you to trust in the Restorer, our God. He is with you whatever you face in life or wherever you go. If you want to pray for your family, work, country or even yourself, we open our doors for you to send us your prayers and we’ll bring it to the Holy Churches in the Holy Land. Send Your Prayer Request through us. We would love to bring your prayers to the churches and pray for you as God restores what the enemy has stolen in your life.

Dealing with Church Damage

Dealing with Church Damage

Dealing with Church Damage

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Isaiah 43:2

All over the world, churches have been time and again struck by calamities. Fires that burned churches down, hailstorms and tornados that blew the roof off the churches, earthquakes that damaged the foundation and shootings and killings that took many lives. It is heart breaking to see churches face such tragedies. Especially now when a global pandemic is ravaging cities, it is having a telling effect on churches. People are scared to go to churches because they are afraid that they may exposed to the virus from infected people. It has forced the churches to close for weeks and even months as the cases increase and even evolve into variants.

All these obstacles have challenged us to humble ourselves and surrender to God whatever situation we face. Seeking God’s voice in these times has helped the churches grow into trusting God more. Whatever storms the church faces, it will pass. God’s mercy is still upon the whole church because in the end, the church is not just the building alone, it is each and every Christian. Church buildings may face tragedy but the real church is the person who builds his or her life in the foundation of faith in God. There may have been trials and situations that have challenged the churches greatly, but the Lord is our Help and Fortress. You just need to learn to see things from a different perspective and see that God has a purpose in every church and the trials faced by it.

A shift in our paradigm or our thinking is a must when we know how impossible our situation is and how difficult it is to change it. Rather than murmuring or complaining about what your situation is, learn to seek God and pray to strengthen your mind and your heart to be at peace. It may not be easy to face each situation of every church but remember that God gives the strength to overcome and all you need to do is to trust that in the end, it will all glorify God. Always remember that there is a purpose behind everything.

As Psalm 32:7-8 says, “You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” God will protect each and every one of us from trouble and even our churches where we gather. God’s unfailing love will wrap every church to do the purpose He has intended for each church to do. Not even this COVID-19 virus can stop God from working in the midst of His people.

The Salvation Garden opens the gates for you and Christians around the world, offering you direct access to the Holy Churches of Jerusalem. The pandemic has restricted a lot of people from coming to the Holy Land to pray and see God’s Promised Land. If you cannot visit the Holy Land for any reason, we are here for you. If you want to pray for your church, your family, or your personal prayers, you can submit your prayer online, and our team members will physically place it in the chosen worship site in the Holy Land as we offer digital documentation for each prayer. Send your prayers now! We would love to pray for you.

Beat COVID-19 Variants Delta and Omicron with Prayer

Beat COVID-19 Variants Delta and Omicron with Prayer

People across the planet were ecstatic to say goodbye to what they referred to as the “unlucky 2020” with new hopes and aspirations to beat COVID-19. While billions of people welcomed 2022 with optimism for normalcy, the year proved to be as deadly as its predecessors. Several countries across the globe fought a feral second wave and even a third wave. There is no doubt that a COVID-19 Prayer request has become even more relevant now.

Wide-spread vaccination drives across the planet intimidated the survival of the pandemic. However, the virus changed with time and created new variants such as Delta and Omicron, making the existing vaccines potentially less effective.

Health Infrastructure Crumbled

Although the vaccination drives initially put worries related to the Coronavirus to rest, these new variants hardly gave any time to think and crumbled the health infrastructure. Are you asking yourself the all-important question- Is there any hope to beat these COVID-19 variants?

Although truth hurts at certain times, the answer to this question is not tough at all. It is time we all look beyond the available vaccines and get closer to God. Our Lord is the only remedy for this. While scientists across the globe are coming up with boosters and vaccines, we cannot ignore the power of sincere and heartfelt prayers.

There is a need for all to get vaccinated. At the same time, let us start accepting that people have become more hedonistic and selfish. It is time we all start praying so that these people regain their senses and stop being so self-centered.

We just celebrated the birth of Christ, God’s son who came to this planet to defeat Satan. He is our ultimate healer. Time has come to seek His love and blessings. So, seek the ultimate cure and His healing touch through prayers and beat the new COVID-19 variants.

Coping Up With COVID-19 Omicron Variant

Coping Up With COVID-19 Omicron Variant

Coping Up With COVID-19 Omicron Variant

It is tough to see what the world is experiencing right now especially when you can see people all around suffering from the Covid-19 virus. A lot of people across the world have been afflicted by this virus despite the practice of the health protocols. You can’t really tell when or who will be infected by the virus and it may even affect not just your physical health but also your mental stability. In these trying times, it is inevitable to feel anxious as you go through the trials in life and the world faces an endless stream of COVID-19 variants that are constantly evolving. Truly there is no assurance when this will end or will it ever end. The only thing we can do is to trust God in each situation.

Maybe you have been struggling with despair and depression as another period of isolation may be coming up in the next few weeks. It is a depressing scenario and the only hope we have now is God and His limitless power and love. As Philippians 4:7 says, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” This peace can never be found on men or on things that are temporal but it can be found in the One who gave us security in eternity, God our Father.

As social media keeps sending an unending stream of content towards you from all directions, a large section of it being negative and depressing news about the scourge of the virus, it is very important to keep your mind at ease about what is happening in your surroundings. It is important to keep your peace in times like these. The only way to ensure that is by developing your relationship with God and His Word that will keep you calm through every storm you face. Keep the peace that comes from God because that will help you handle challenging situations. If you’re afraid or anxious, pray for peace. God’s generosity in all things is given to those who ask. You only need to ask. If you need healing, He gives healing to everyone who is sick. As the verse said, “Ask and you shall receive”. Peace and healing be upon you!

If you’re struggling and you need to pray for someone or something, we, at the Salvation Garden, bring you encouragement to remind you that you are not alone in this battle. As we pray, lift up our prayers and surrender to God, we become united as children of God. You may send your prayer request through us, and we’ll bring it to the Holy Churches. Visit https://www.thesalvationgarden.org/ to read more and Send Your Prayer Request through us. We would love to bring your prayers to the churches and pray for you.

Significance of the Feast of the Epiphany

Significance of the Feast of the Epiphany

Significance of the Feast of the Epiphany

Epiphany, Three Kings’ Day, Theophany, or the Feast of the Epiphany is celebrated every year, on January 6 – Twelve days after Christmas. Some Orthodox Churches celebrate it on January 19 every year as they have Christmas on January 7. It is that time of the year when Christians think of the Three Wise Men who visited Christ. Epiphany is also the feast that marks the end of Christmas.

Some churches use the occasion to recall the day when the baptism of Christ took place at the age of 30. It was also the day when he began to preach to people about God. The word Epiphany means “revelation” and Christ’s baptism and the Wise Men’s visit are both landmark occasions when he was “revealed.”

Some churches use the day to remember and celebrate the baptism of Jesus and the Wise Men’s visit. Orthodox Christians and Catholics mainly commemorate the occasion. In fact, for Orthodox churches, the day is as significant as Christmas.

Epiphany is celebrated on the feast day and its eve by blessing the water. This blessed water is also used in church services throughout the year. Churches also baptize people on this holy day. A priest uses this water to bless people’s houses in the church after the service. However, it may take some days for the priest to complete this activity.

History of Epiphany

The Eastern Church started the festival when it commemorated the birth of Christ for the first time. However, by 354, the birth of Christ was being celebrated every year on December 25.

In the 4th century AD, the Roman Church started celebrating the festival on January 6. It was an era when the Church started celebrating Epiphany and Christmas as separate feasts.

On the other hand, the Western Church commemorates the day with the visit made to the infant Christ by the Magi. This visit is seen as proof that the Jewish Messiah, Christ, arrived on the planet for salvation.

How is Epiphany Celebrated?

The evening that precedes Epiphany is known as Twelfth Night. Also, the period between Christmas and Epiphany is called the Twelve Days of Christmas. Many countries celebrate the day with delicious special pastries. Kids often get tiny gifts in their shoes in memory of the gifts of the Magi to the infant Christ.

The day also features several traditions, including water as a symbol of Christ’s baptism. Holy water is used for blessing the houses of the believers. Epiphany is an important festival in Spain. The country refers to the occasion as “The festival of the Three Magic Kings.” It is the day when the people of Spain and some other Catholic kids get their presents, which the Three Kings deliver to them.

People flock to the local bakeries on Epiphany morning in Spain and purchase a special pastry/cake called a “Roscon.” These pastries are filled with chocolate or cream, and a paper crown is used to decorate them.

About The Salvation Garden

Prayers form an integral part of any Christian festival, and the feast of the epiphany 2022 is not an exception to that. The Salvation Garden is a prayer community that understands the importance of delivering your prayers to the Holy Land.

The three-step procedure you have to follow is pretty straightforward. You need to fill out the prayer for epiphany and choose churches in the Holy Land. We will visit those churches to deliver your epiphany prayer personally. We will also confirm the delivery of your prayer to your email ID with an optional clip.

We do not charge for your services but any donation from your end will be welcome to meet our travel and printing expenses. So, come, celebrate the epiphany of the lord with us!

5 Best Prayers to the Holy Innocents Day for Courage and Strength

The Feast of the Holy Innocents or Holy Innocents Day is observed on December 28 every year. The Catholic Church remembers the first martyrs on this day. King Herod had killed these innocent children while searching for baby Jesus. The day is also called Childermas.

The Bible mentions that Herod was afraid of the King of Jews. He was also furious when he did not hear from the Magi who had visited him first to seek a newborn king. The king was upset with the escape of Jesus and issued an order to kill all male children who were below 2-year-old in Bethlehem and the neighboring localities, hoping to kill Christ.

Initially, the Feast of the Holy innocents was commemorated with Epiphany. However, it became a festival by itself by the 5th century. In ancient Rome, people fasted and mourned on this day.

The Feast of the Holy Innocents 2021 will be celebrated as a religious feast day, like every year. In Roman Catholic nations, the Holy Innocents Feast Day is a day of festivity for young kids. Some churches do not use the words Alleluia and the Gloria in the mass to honor the sufferings of the mourning mothers of Bethlehem, except when the day falls on a Sunday.

Following are the five best Holy Innocents Day Prayers for courage and strength:

1. Prayer to Protect the Children

God’s holy children, you had to face death even before you could enjoy your life. Nevertheless, you now rest and reign supreme with Jesus in glory. Look down on the earth from heaven where little ones like you are suffering and dying at the hands of criminals in this world.

Protect and surround all the innocent children when we cannot protect them. Console and comfort the parents whose losses are too big for us to imagine or comprehend.

We sing praises in heaven for the souls of all dear kids who have passed away. Please support us to become as true, pure, and simple as you!

Guide us to accept blessings and love like you. King of Kings, fill our hearts with the laughter and happiness of life to make us remember that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to you. Amen.

2. Prayer While Signing a Cross on the Forehead of Your Child

May our Lord bless you and your children! May he be the Guardian of your mind and heart – the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit! Amen.

3. Prayer to Give Strength to Pregnant Women

O Heavenly Father, please keep us safe from the devil’s wickedness. Protect all those helpless little kids whom you have brought to this planet. Please offer your healing touch to all those women who are pregnant in the world today.

Protect the little ones they carry in their wombs with your blessings and love. Remove their apprehension of selfishness. Make their womanly hearts full of love and affection for their little ones. Give birth to their babies safely and make sure that care a mother can give all the required care to her little one.

We pray for this through your son Jesus Christ, our Lord who reigns and lives with you. Amen.

4. Prayer to Commit the Kids and World to You

Dear God, we celebrate the arrival of the Christ-child,

We take pleasure in the association of the Holy Innocents.

We commit this community’s children, our world, and our nation to you.

Merciful Father, our virtuous God, accept our prayers for the sake of your Son.

Our Savior Christ! Amen.

5. Prayer to Establish God’s Reign of Peace and Justice

Heavenly Father,

So many children suffered as Herod killed them,

Though they did not commit any mistake:

Please defeat all evil designs, and let all little ones be safe.

Establish your reign of peace and justice;

Through our Lord your Son Jesus Christ

He reigns with you and is alive. Amen.

5 Holy Places for Christianity in Jerusalem

5 Holy Places for Christianity in Jerusalem

Holy Places for Christianity in Jerusalem

The sites where Christ was born, preached, crucified, and traveled are famous all over the globe. Thousands of Christians send their  prayer requests  to the holy sites every year! However, there are some holy places where believers feel miracles take place.

Prayers are a means to get closer to God. The article introduces you to some of the holy places for Christianity in Jerusalem. Each of these sites has a unique significance that is difficult to overlook.

1. Church of All Nations

As many as 12 different nations from all over the world came forward to donate funds to construct this holy church in Jerusalem. This religious site sits close to the Garden of Gethsemane. The building is very close to an old olive grove where Christ is believed to have offered His prayers a night before he was crucified.

Church of All Nations is perched in proximity to the Mount of Olives. It is a poignant site, perfect for meditating. Visitors who come to this holy spot at night claim that they find a feeling of peace and tranquility there.

Some people also refer to this church as the Basilica of the Agony. The church’s construction got over in 1924. In  the Gospels of Mark, Matthew, and Luke, Jesus and his close followers visited the Mount of Olives after their historic Last Supper.

Christ instructed eight of his close followers to remain at one place but went further with three of his other devoted disciples – James, Peter, and John. He also told these three followers to stay awake when he prayed. It is believed that all these three men witnessed His  Transfiguration.

You will find an aura of sorrowful reverence inside this church. Antonio Barluzzi, the architect, left the interior of the shrine in partial darkness. At the same time, its plan allows the entry of subdued natural light through the windows to offer some relief.

2. St. Peter’s Church

St. Peters Church

St. Peter’s Church got its name from Peter as he gave life to Tabitha at this site through his power of the priesthood. The church sits in a port called Jaffa, about an hour’s drive from Jerusalem.

Christians believe that it is the same Roman Catholic Church where Christ was detained after the Romans seized Him. St. Peter’s Church is one of the holiest churches in Jerusalem and commemorates Apostle Peter’s triple denial of his Master. The place also celebrates his reunion with Christ after the resurrection.

It has a golden rooster on the roof and above a black cross. The rooster reminds a forecast of Christ that Peter would reunite after refusing Him thrice “before a cock crows”.

St. Peter’s Church has four different levels – a guardroom, dungeon, upper church, and middle church. The design and art of this church are a beautiful fusion of modern and ancient works.

3. Church of the Holy Sepulchre

The Holy Sepulchre Entrance

Christians consider the Church of the Holy Sepulchreto be the holiest site in the world. The mother of Emperor Constantine built it in AD 330. Many believe that its construction took place on the crucifixion and burial site of Christ.

The Bible mentions that His tomb was placed in proximity to the site of the crucifixion. The church was thus planned to cover the site of the tomb and the cross. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is also revered as the site where Constantine’s mother, St. Helena, first discovered the actual cross of Jesus’ crucifixion.

4. Abbey of the Dormition

Abbey of the Dormition is the ideal sacred site to pray to Our Lord for strength. Incidentally, the church was rebuilt and demolished several times in the past. However, although it was rebuilt countless times, its name never changed.

The word “Dormition” signifies falling asleep. Christians believe that it is the same site where Mary was asleep before her soul and body went to heaven. Abbey of the Dormition is considered to be one of Jerusalem’s holiest churches. A few remarkable features of this holy place are its beauty, location that overlooks the old city, and size.

Christians believe that the Ottoman Sultan gifted a plot of land to the German Emperor, Wilhelm when the latter came to the Holy Land at the end of the 19th century. Wilhelm made up his mind to build a big church on this land to showcase the power of his nation. The Abbey has the feel of a strong fortress even today.

Abbey of the Dormition features a unique round shape, which is not present in many other churches in the Holy Land. The wings, surrounding towers, and the central building of the church are all circular.

The church’s interior looks quite impressive, and the floor features a large and round mosaic. The mosaic suggests a relationship between apostles, prophets, and the four messengers of the Gospel.

5. The Garden Tomb

The Garden Tomb

The Garden Tomb is another holy worship site for Christians. Situated in the heart of Jerusalem, this contemplative and serene garden outside the walls of the Old City has many points of interest. These include an old Jewish tomb that several people feel is the burial site of Jesus of Nazareth and His resurrection.

The Garden Tomb has been a hub of prayer and worship for Christians for over a century now. It also features a water cistern and a garden. A fascinating story behind this garden dates back to the mid-19th century.

A British Christian delegation went to study the site as scriptures suggest Christ was crucified in an area named “the Skull.” The same scholars mentioned that the hill above the garden seems to be Christ’s crucifixion site as it is in proximity to the main gate of the Old City.

This is where Jesus chose to live, teach and perform miracles such as healing the cripple and the Centurion’s servant.

The ancient town of Capernaum was uncovered in the early 20th century by the Franciscan fathers who took over the land. Today, it is a very important holy pilgrimage site.

3. Mount Tabor

Since the 3rd century, most Christians have identified Mount Tabor as the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus. It has long been a place of Christian pilgrimage. It is the place where Jesus is transfigured and becomes radiant in glory – like the sun.

When in need of a miracle – a personal miracle, a healing miracle, or any other celestial help – believers travel far to visit Mount Tabor and pray.

4. Calvary

Jesus Christ was crucified here. There is a miracle in Mount Calvary which any weary soul who comes to the Cross can receive freely without discrimination.

You can receive forgiveness, love, joy, strength, wisdom, and peace. The Cross of Jesus Christ is the most significant thing that has ever happened in all of history.

5. Mount of Olives

The Mount of Olives is a mountain range where Jesus ascended into heaven, and where we wait for Him to return to judge the living and the dead.

This mountain range is made up of three peaks located on the Eastern border of the city of Jerusalem. The highest peak is 2,684 feet and offers a scenic view of Old Jerusalem.

The Eastern side of the slope is at the beginning of the Judean Desert. It separates the Temple Mount in present Jerusalem from the desert.

Surrounded by olive trees that continue to grow to this day, they remind us of the price Jesus paid as our King and Messiah.
